About Me



Elizabeth is a native New Yorker and has lived in New York her entire life. Currently she works in finance and is also a freelance writer in her spare time.  She was also recently appointed President of the Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation (SASF) Young Professionals Board, working to raise money for after school programs throughout NYC.  

 

Elizabeth attended one of New York City’s most prestigious high schools attended the Bronx High School of Science and Fordham University where she received her bachelor’s and MBA at just 22 years old. As an undergraduate, Elizabeth studied finance with a specialization in international business and minored in mathematics and economics. She continued her graduate studies at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Communications & Media Management. Elizabeth was a very active student leader on campus as a part of Fordham’s student government, a new student orientation leader and a member of the Fordham Debate Society to name a few.

 

In June 2012, Elizabeth won the title of Miss New York United States 2012.  As Miss New York, Elizabeth spent her time making positive impact and change in the community through her platform of empowering youth though education by providing them with the tools necessary to succeed in life. 

 

Elizabeth is very optimistic, always trying to look at the positive side of things and living life to the fullest! She remains very active within the community, attending charity events and volunteering at local and national debate tournaments both on the high school and college circuit. While Elizabeth is a very hard worker, she loves to learn new things and is always up for new and exciting adventures. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys travelling, playing the piano and most importantly spending time with her wonderful family and friends.
